Expressive Language pertains to how we talk, write, sign, or nonverbally express ourselves. Receptive Language pertains to how we understand and comprehend language, both verbal and written information. 

Articulation is a fancy speech word for "saying letter or speech sounds.”

In Lunch Bunch, we typically work on social skills with a small group of 2-3 children. Want to work in a group? I offer group sessions and group rates! Just mention it in your email to me and we'll get it set up!

Not at this time. I currently operate on a private-pay basis and do not accept insurance. Upon request, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider as well.

Not at this time, unless there is a special circumstance. In-person therapy is ideal for maximum engagement and value. I consider myself to be an intuitive therapist and adjust sessions to the child as we go, this is much more difficult to do in a virtual setting.

Required clinic forms (Consent to Treatment, Notice of Privacy Practices, etc.) will be sent out for signature within one week of registering for your package.

Once clinic forms have been signed and a full payment is received, sales will be considered final.

If for any reason The Speech Path is unable to continue to provide services, a refund of any unused sessions will be issued.

I understand summer plans can change and life with kids is unpredictable! Please do your best to to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel, contact me as soon as possible. If you do not contact to cancel or reschedule and you “no show” your scheduled session, you will be responsible for the entire session fee.

Sessions canceled by the therapist will be rescheduled.

Send me a note with your questions/ concerns/ goals and we will set up a complimentary 20 minute phone call. I offer a free screening to provide recommendations. Recommendations usually either include evaluation of communication skills or wait and let development do its thing!

A full evaluation is $200 for one area of communication, i.e. articulation OR language. To add an additional area it is an additional $100.

A mini-evaluation can be recommended prior to a Summer Speech Package if needed, this is $100.

Therapy rates vary depending on length of session, materials needed, and if a travel fee is included. Rates are also dependent upon location, whether I am coming to you (in home or in the community setting such as a coffee shop or library) or if I provide therapy at your child’s school. I partner with a few schools in the Twin Cities area. Contact me for more info!
